When receiving a bad review, the inclination of the writer is to either 1) reject those bad reviews because they obviously don't know what they are talking about, or 2) cower in the corner, lips quivering, tears streaming down the cheeks, praying for it all to be over.
Mining each review for nuggets of truth is tough on the soul. I think of it as a learned thing. You have to work at it. Many reviews will tell you just as much, or more, about the reviewer. Just grab your rifle and avoid the mines, soldier!
